Overview

The Buchla 281 Quad Function Generator is a modular synthesizer module developed as part of the Buchla 200 Series. It replaces the earlier models 280 and 284, consolidating and expanding their functionality. The 281 provides four independent function generators, each capable of producing control voltages for complex modulation and sequencing tasks. It supports ADSR envelope generation and can operate in Low Frequency Oscillator (LFO) mode.

Design
