Sony TC-2350SD (1975)
A stereo cassette deck with Dolby NR and an upright, see-through design, released by Sony in 1975.
Overview
The Sony TC-2350SD is a stereo cassette deck introduced in 1975 as part of Sony's first upright, see-through deck series. It features a vertical tape transport mechanism, allowing the cassette to stand upright during playback. Designed for high-fidelity audio recording and playback, it supports Fe-Cr, CrO2, and normal tapes with a 3-step switching tape selector that adjusts bias and equalizer independently. The deck includes Dolby noise reduction, a limiter recording system developed by Sony, and an auto shut-off mechanism. It has a 3-digit tape counter, illuminated level meters, and a tape remaining light for user convenience.
