Design
The woofer uses CARBOCON (carbon-fiber reinforced cone) material and features a light, flexible edge of special shape to suppress edge breakage. A large corrugation damper improves linearity, and the frame is made of aluminum die-cast to prevent resonance. The system includes continuously variable level control. The original fact sheet notes "Ca-O RBOCON," interpreted as a transcription error for CARBOCON.
