Overview
The Moog Minimoog Voyager is a true analog monophonic synthesizer designed by Robert Moog. It was released in 2002 as a modern evolution of the classic Minimoog Model D, retaining its core sonic character while adding contemporary features like MIDI. Production ended in 2015 after 13 years, with approximately 14,000 units built. The first unit sold was a Signature Edition, hand-built and signed by Bob Moog in August 2002.

Design
Designed by Robert Moog, the Minimoog Voyager is based entirely on the original Minimoog Model D and features a solid hardwood cabinet in the Performer Edition. It includes a hinged, multi-position control panel and integrates modern capabilities such as MIDI while maintaining the pure analog signal path.
Context
The Minimoog Voyager was succeeded by the Minimoog Voyager XL in 2010, a 61-key variant released to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Minimoog Model D. Variants of the Voyager include the Performer Edition, Signature Edition, and the limited 10th Anniversary Edition with an MSRP of $15,000.
