The Konica Pop is a 35mm compact viewfinder camera introduced in 1982 and produced until 1985. Marketed as an easy-to-use snapshot camera, it was designed for simplicity with fixed focus, a single shutter speed, and manual film winding. It was also sold in Japan as the C35 EFJ. The Pop features a built-in electronic flash powered by two AA batteries, which activates automatically in low light. It supports only ISO 100 and 400 film speeds, selected via a sliding switch. Around 1.5 million units were sold in various colors, reflecting its position as a stylish, low-feature option in Konica’s compact lineup.
