Design
The SB-6000 uses a 30 cm cone woofer with aramid fiber-reinforced paper and an extended piston motion range to minimize mid- and high-frequency distortion. The 3.2 cm dome tweeter features a silk cloth diaphragm with heat-molded urethane foam for low strain. A diffraction equalizer optimizes high-frequency response by managing sound wave reflection and diffraction. The crossover employs a filter-2 circuit with -12dB/oct. slopes for both woofer and tweeter, combining an inductive m-type filter to flatten phase and sound pressure characteristics. Drivers are vertically aligned to improve horizontal and vertical dispersion, and the enclosure uses a dumped bass reflex design with a slit port.
