Design

The SB-1204 uses a 12 cm cone-type woofer (EAS-12PL50) optimized for excellent low-frequency response in a small cabinet. A UL edge is used on the woofer to reduce mid-range distortion, while a large magnet and sealed, low-loss yoke improve efficiency and damping. The horn-type tweeter employs a lightweight, rigid polyester film diaphragm to minimize vibration system mass. The enclosure is hermetically sealed with packing to prevent air leakage between the baffle and back plate.
