Design
The PS-2100 uses a belt drive system and a 4-pole synchronous motor to maintain constant rotation regardless of voltage fluctuations. The turntable platter is made of aluminum die-cast for stability, and the tone arm is a static balance type with a universal plug-in shell using a 4-pin standard for easy cartridge replacement. High-compliance MM type cartridges are used, and the system includes a protective device that prevents belt damage during speed changes when the turntable is not rotating. The cabinet has a walnut finish and comes with a smoked plastic dust cover.
