Design
The SR 505 uses a precision-finished static balance type gimbal support pipe arm with a lateral balancer and continuously variable internal anti-skate adjustment. It features a direct-reading needle pressure mechanism in 0.5g steps, a slow-acting oil-damped lift mechanism resistant to temperature changes, and a belt protection system. The auto-up mechanism employs a magnet reed switch and plunger with zero side pressure during operation. The turntable includes a gold-plated connection terminal, alumina scratch board, zinc die-cast accessory base, universal light shell, howling prevention insulator, feather-touch start lever, push-button speed switching with indicator, and a removable smoked acrylic dust cover. The cabinet is finished in walnut open-pore wood.
