Design

The CS-E700 uses a three-way configuration with a multi-cell horn tweeter for high-frequency clarity and wide dispersion. The 30 cm cone-type woofer employs an FB cone made via a unique manufacturing method and a large ferrite magnet with a loose design to enhance low-frequency response. The 12 cm midrange unit also uses an FB cone and ferrite magnet, with its rear sealed to block back pressure from the woofer. The front baffle includes level control, and the enclosure is hermetically sealed with a walnut oil finish. A multi-amplifier terminal on the rear allows switching between 2-way and 3-way active operation.
