The Braun L 530 is a 3-way, 3-speaker bookshelf system designed as part of Braun’s 30-series. It uses an airtight (sealed) enclosure and features a 17.5 cm cone woofer with rubber surround, developed in collaboration with speaker engineer Dr. Kurt Mueller. The system includes a 5 cm soft dome midrange and a 1.9 cm soft dome tweeter, both with Terylene diaphragms coated in liquid rubber and hand-manufactured for precision. Drivers are independently mounted to minimize vibration transfer, and the front includes a removable silver-anodized aluminum grille. Available in walnut and white finishes, the L 530 was sold individually at ¥68,000 around 1976.

Design
