The 501 C has the same specifications as the 503 CX but lacks TTL flash metering and the 'cocked/released' indicator window. Context
Positioned between the 503 CXi (1994–1996) and the 503 CW (1996–2013) in the V-system lineup, the 501 C served as Hasselblad’s entry-level offering. It provided a more accessible point of entry into the system without sacrificing image quality or accessory compatibility, making it a practical choice for photographers upgrading from older models like the 500 C/M.
