Overview

The Agfa Box B-2 is a medium format box camera produced by Agfa Kamerawerk AG in Munich, Germany from 1937 to 1938. Designed for Agfa B-2 film—equivalent to modern 120 roll film—it captures eight 6x9 cm exposures per roll. The camera features a fixed-focus meniscus lens with a focal length of 95mm and an aperture of f/11, suitable for subjects from 8 feet to infinity. It uses a rotary shutter with speeds of 1/40 second and Bulb (B), cocked and released via a lever on the lower right side. The shutter is mounted on the front cover, positioned in front of the lens.

Design
