Overview
The Agfa Billy Record II is a vertical, self-erecting folding camera designed for 6x9 cm exposures on 120 roll film. Produced around 1950 to 1952 by Agfa camera works in Munich, Germany, it succeeds the Agfa Billy Record and shares the same body style as the Agfa Billy Compur. The camera features manual scale focusing from 3 feet to infinity and includes both a direct optical viewfinder and a waist-level finder. It was also exported under the name Ventura 69 Deluxe.

Context
The Agfa Billy Record II is part of the long-running Billy series, which began in 1927. It replaces the Agfa Billy Record and is closely related to the Ventura 69 (Billy Record). A less common variant was equipped with a Steinheil Agfa Apotar 105mm f/4.5 lens in a Prontor-S shutter. The Billy Record II was offered with improved lens and shutter options over its predecessor and included a reflex brilliant finder in addition to the eye-level finder.
