Sansui BA-60 (1968)
A solid-state stereo power amplifier released by Sansui Electric in July 1968, designed for high-fidelity audio systems.
Overview
The Sansui BA-60 is a stereo power amplifier manufactured by Sansui Electric Company Limited, released in July 1968. It was positioned as a "solid-state basic amplifier" and pairs with other components like the CD-5 electronic crossover unit. It can be used alongside the BA-90, AU-777, or AU-555 amplifiers in multi-unit setups. The amplifier delivers 25W per channel into 4Ω and features independent volume and phase controls for left and right channels.

Design
The amplifier uses a SEPPP OTL-ITL circuit with silicon transistors and includes a circuit breaker for power transistor protection. It features left and right independent volume controls, phase changeover switches, and an oral/null balance switch for adjusting left/right balance. An input level adjuster allows compatibility with various preamps.
Context
The Sansui BA-60 can be used in conjunction with the SANSUI CD-5 electronic crossover unit and is mentioned alongside the BA-90, AU-777, and AU-555 amplifiers as compatible components in expanded audio systems.
