Available in silver, it was designed to bridge professional tape quality with the compact cassette format. The B710 MkI launched with Dolby B noise reduction, while the later MkII added Dolby C. It features a three-head configuration and microcomputer control, supporting 4-track, 2-channel stereo recording and playback. Units were marketed as high-end audio equipment, with original pricing around $1899 or 2900 German Marks in 1982.
