Klipsch Cornwall III (2006–)
A floorstanding heritage loudspeaker with horn-loaded midrange and tweeter, 15-inch woofer, and hand-built US construction.
Overview
The Klipsch Cornwall III is a floorstanding loudspeaker in Klipsch's Heritage lineup, first introduced in 2006 as part of a lineage dating back to the original 1959 Cornwall. It uses a three-way design with horn-loaded compression drivers for the midrange and treble, and a direct-radiating 15-inch woofer for bass. Designed to deliver the full-range bass response of the Klipschorn with high sensitivity, it was named for being the first Klipsch speaker that could perform well against a wall rather than only in corners. The enclosure is hand-built in Hope, Arkansas, continuing the company’s tradition of US craftsmanship.

Design
The Cornwall III uses a three-way design with horn-loaded compression drivers for the midrange and tweeter, and a direct-radiating 15-inch woofer. The enclosure is made in the USA by craftsmen in Hope, Arkansas, maintaining Klipsch’s heritage construction methods and horn-loaded technology.
Context
The Cornwall model line began in 1959 as a larger, full-range alternative to the Heresy, originally intended as a center channel in a three-speaker stereo array. The Cornwall III continues this role in the Klipsch Heritage series, which includes the Klipschorn (1946), Heresy (1957), and La Scala (1963).
Market
Listings for used Cornwall III speakers have appeared with prices ranging from $1,429 to $3,200. One forum listing noted a price drop to $2,999 in early 2025.
