Design

The T-11 uses a crystal oscillator for tuning and features a double-tuned configuration in both the input and amplifier stages. The mixer employs a balloon FET balanced modulator with a differential-transformer, and a PIN diode attenuator is included. The detector combines an original DGL detector with a group-delay flat IF filter, using nineteen high-speed logic ICs in series with a 114-degree phase delay. Two IF filters (Normal and Narrow) are provided. Stereo demodulation uses a PLL circuit locked to the pilot signal, stabilized by a ceramic resonator and voltage-controlled variable reactance. It has the first balanced output circuit in a tuner from Accuphase, along with a signal level and multipath meter, noise filter, muting switch, mono switch, and output level control.
